BOUNDARY WALL AT ASPEN PARK, KINSEALY
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2012
We are writing to update you on the situation regarding the erection of a fence along Aspen Park. We are pleased that at long last the Council have agreed to secure this boundary. Please see below motion and reply that was tabled at a recent Council meeting.
We are aware that for all of you the delay in erecting the fence has been extremely frustrating. We have continued to pursue this matter for the past three years. We are pleased that at last we will soon see a resolution to this issue.
The Area engineer earlier this week has informed us that they expect to undertake this work in the next three weeks or so. Be assured that we will be keeping a very close eye on this.
Motion: Councillor E. O’Brien
“That the Manager gives an update on the issue of the provision of a secure boundary at Aspen Park, Kinsealy as per the motion that was agreed by members at the November 2011 Area Committee Meeting.”
Report:
It was agreed at the November meeting that the anti-social behaviour at this location would be monitored in conjunction with the local Gardai.
Following consultation with the Gardai, it is now proposed to erect a fence at the end of the cul de sac, behind the existing shrubbery, similar to that installed at Birchdale Road.
