Taking in Charge of Drynam Estate

This development is on the Inspectorate Division list of unfinished estates for review with the Development Company and financial backers.  The developments are being prioritised at present to secure full and satisfactory completion.
No request has been received by the council to take this estate in charge. When a request is received, the estate will be listed for snagging by the inspectorate to enable outstanding works to be pursued with the Developers. Meanwhile the inspectorate will write to the developer requesting him to submit proposals to complete the development in accordance with Fingal County Council’s taking in charge policy and standards

Community Centre Project – Kinsealy Court

Informal consultations and discussions with representatives of local residents have resulted in general support within the community for the Council’s proposals for facilities for the area. Consequently, arrangements are now being made for the commencement of proceedings under Part VIII of the Planning & Development Regulations 2001.
The project is being funded through a donation from the Swords Baptist Church and, partially, through the Fingal Schools Model.

Temporary Fencing / Missing Manhole Covers in Drynam Estate

The Councils inspector recently held discussion with the developers. It was agreed that the sites boundary fencing would be properly secured to render it structurally safe, repaired as necessary and fully maintained. They also agreed to complete works to the Eircom inspection chamber (referred to as a Manhole) within the site boundary so that it can be covered. The inspector will keep the situation monitored.
