The allocation of €10.6 million to Fingal County Council for vital road improvements is an investment in the community with important economic benefits.
I’m delighted to see that Fingal County Council has been allocated €4m for road widening works from Dublin Airport to Drinan and €6m for the Drynam to Lissenhall Widening Scheme.
The funds allocated to Fingal County Council also include more than €600,000 for maintenance works. This includes lighting, bridge maintenance and motorway maintenance.
This funding is an important investment in the road infrastructure network in North Dublin, widening a key route to and from Dublin Airport. The economic benefits of this will be extremely important locally and nationally.
