REPLY - PQ23047-18 - table.docx On the basis of the latest information available to my Department from local authorities across the country, there are 193 statutory city and county development plans, local area plans and strategic development zone planning schemes currently in place under the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended). The table below, compiled on the basis of information provided by planning authorities, sets out the detailed numbers of county/city development plans, local area plans and strategic development zones for each local authority in 2005, 2010 and 2018.
