My Bio
Being 36 years old with a young family, I fully understand the pressures and challenges that we face. That is why I have consistently contributed to the national debate on our economy.
• I have a specific interest in Education and have worked closely with parents of children with special needs get the support they require.
• I was the first TD in our area to campaign successfully to deal with the scourge of Head Shops, which are now closed.
• I publicly defended the Old-Age Pension to ensure it remained intact.
• I campaigned for the Cystic Fibrosis facilities that are now open in Beaumont Hospital.
I have supported Irish Small and Medium Businesses and ensured foreign direct investment comes to North Dublin to create much-needed jobs.
As a T.D. I was chosen to serve on Micheál’s Front Bench, as Spokesperson for Sport.
Currently as an elected Senator, I am confident about our future. I believe I can bring the right blend of youth and experience in my role as leader of the opposition in the Seanad.
I am certain that I can continue to:
• make a real and positive impact nationally.
• deliver the results at a local level.
• bring forward new school buildings,
• enhance our sport and community facilities,
• improve train and bus services
• support small businesses
• ensure new jobs through foreign direct investment
