Once again the spectre of a massive sewerage plant has raised its head in North County Dublin. The plant proposed by the Department of the Environment and Fingal County Council is planned to serve a population of 700,000. Our area will become the main sewerage treatment centre for all of Dublin and the surrounding counties.

I have been informed by Rush National School that progress is being made on plans for an extension to the school building. I know from my involvement with the school and principal Margaret Dobinson that this project will be hugely important to them.

Following representations made to me by residents, I am delighted to inform you that Fingal County Council has allocated €17,500 under the 2010 Transportation Programme of Works for Traffic Calming to include Public Lighting on Park Road, Rush.
6 billion credit for small & medium businesses in bank planDate: 01/04/2010
Small and medium sized businesses will benefit from a minimum of €6 billion in credit facilities as a result of specific lending targets being imposed on AIB and Bank of Ireland arising from the increased State support for the banking system.
