Progress on permanent school building for Holywell educate together

I can confirm that Holywell Educate Together, Swords is to proceed to the planning stage, to provide a permanent school building.

There is a large and growing population in the community in Swords and this new building will be a great addition to the community, benefiting thousands of young students in the years ahead.

The Tánaiste has confirmed to me that as part of the process that has been agreed, tenders will be issued for the building of the school. This is a clear sign that the Government is committed to the community and education provision.

I have had the pleasure of visiting the school on a number of occasions and I would like to thank the principal Maria Boyne, the Board of Management and all the residents who have helped in securing this important decision.
