Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs and Trade, Darragh O'Brien had said that it was simply heart-breaking to see another attack in London last night.
"My thoughts and prayers are with all those who have lost loved ones and those who were injured in this cowardly attack.
"Along with my family, I was in London all weekend and stood in the very place the attack took place 24 hours previously.
"Attacks of this nature attempt to strike terror into people, but I know London, and I know Londoners. They won't let terrorists win. They will stay united and tolerant, and ultimately the perpetrators will lose because of the decency of people.
"Across Europe, and indeed the world, those of us who stand for freedom, tolerance and diversity, must stay united and stay strong," concluded O'Brien.
