Water outage in St. Margaret's and The Ward areas, Monday 29th January 2018 due to the Ballycoolin and Ward Water Towers emptying. A further pump failure to the water supply to the Towers occurred overnight, however the pumps are now working. Due to the large area to be a supplied and the volume of water required to re-fill the Water Towers and the network, it could take 12 – 24 hours to restore full supply to all areas.
Water supply to St. Margaret’s and the Ward areas will be restored this evening/overnight. The refilling and the restoration of water levels in the Ballycoolin and the Ward Water Towers will continue overnight/tomorrow. Low water pressure will be experienced for a period of time after water is restored. Areas affected: · St. Margaret’s, · The Ward, · And surrounding areas. Irish Water is aware of the outage.
